Seasonal Catalogue is coming!

Well good morning! The last day in August, jeepers where did the summer go???? Have we had one??

So our Summer Mini finishes today and tomorrow we have the launch of the new Seasonal Autumn/Winter catalogue. I wanted to take a couple of minutes to explain a few changes on the Stampin Up Catalogues as we are entering into a "transition year" to bring us much more in line with our US relations!!

1st September - sees the launch of the Autumn/Winter Catlalogue - you can order from me from Saturday!

1st September - also sees the Retirement List for the 2011-2012 Annual Catalogue - place your orders from Saturday for those items that will leave us!!

Please note the links for these will be added on Saturday evening

1st October - sees the launch of the NEW 70 page larger Annual Catalogue, this will only last us until 30th June 2013 and then our future launch dates will be 1st July!

PHEW! Are you still with me??

OK so here is my favourite card I have made so far with goodies from the Seasonal that goes live TOMORROW!!! The preserved jars are so on trend at the moment, I can see this being a popular set!

I made this card whilst spending a lovely 4 days at my downline Sarah-Jane's house and she suggested we used Vellum cardstock for the jar, how lush does it look?

I even used SJ's sewing machine and did a bit of patchwork!!!!!

The ribbon is a sneak peek from the new Annual Catalogue on 1st October, it was a treat I got in Vienna!!!!!

Right I have to go, I have a really busy but fun packed weekend ahead!!! Can't wait!! I look forward to hearing what you think of the new Seasonal Catalogue, and of course would be delighted to order any products for you! Any orders of £60+ during September will receive FREE delivery direct to your door (saving £4.95) This offer cannot be used for Stampers Club orders!

Bye for now

Nursery Nest Good Luck

Good morning blogland! Today I am back with something completely different! A Good Luck card for my hairdresser who is going on her Maternity Leave next week!! Yesterday was my last cut (& colour) before she has a break and I am really going to miss her!!

I wasnt sure what sort of card to make her, can't do a Congrats as she hasnt had her baby yet so I went with the Good Luck theme! She already knows she is having a girl so I got to use lots of pink!

I used the Nursery Nest papers which I am sure will retire at the end of September, they have a colour combo of Marina Mist, Pear Pizazz, Blushing Bride and Perfect Plum! They are lovely for baby projects for both boys and girls! I knew as soon as I started the card I wanted bunting!

I used the Party this Way stamp set stamped in either Perfect Plum, Pear Pizazz and Blushing Bride and then I added the letters from the Just Perfect Alphabet! I love how this fits so nicely inside the 3/4 circle punch.

The cot and the building blocks are from the Little Additions stamp set, again perfect for baby projects. I love the little addition of the Pink Pirouette taffeta bows!!!

I bought Sarah a matching Scrapbook album and wrapped it in tissue paper with some of our Whisper White ribbon! She was really pleased with it, loved the card and loved the album as she said it was something really different and is looking forward to recording lots of memories!!

Bye for now!

Been down south and a sneak peek!

Hello there!! I am back from a mini-break down to Southampton to see my lovely friend and downline Sarah-Jane. Both myself and Evan stayed for 4 days with SJ and her lovely family and its been brilliant! The kids all got on so well and SJ and I got to craft and catch up! I am so lucky that I have met such wonderful friends through Stampin Up and now my children have made friends too!!

Stampin Up is not just about craft products, the friendships I now have through Stampin Up are wonderful and I am so grateful for that!

Whilst I was at SJ's we had a play with the new items from the upcoming Seasonal Autumn/Winter Catalogue that goes live on 1st September. As a demonstrator we get to pre-order items from the catalogue before they go live to give us the opportunity to prepare samples, makes and takes etc…. This is a card that SJ found on Pinterest (I think) so we had a little CASE!!!

Quite a few new products on this card! Can you spot them all???? Also some new colours too!!!

I have been busy making lots of samples for my up coming events starting off in September.

Here is a little sneak peek from my All Day Christmas Stamp a Stack on 15th September in Pudsey.
I have 3 places left at the moment for this fun event. The cost is £35 for the FULL DAY including LUNCH, HOT DRINKS and a CUPCAKE. Plus ALL the products to make your cards. You just need scissors and glue! You will go home with a huge stack of Christmas cards to get you well and truly ahead for the festive season!

I have quite a few new ladies attending this event so please do not feel you have to be a seasoned crafter! Please contact me at the email address at the top of my blog for more information or to book a place

Happy Birthday Allie

Today is my lovely downline Allie's birthday! We were able to wish Allie a Happy Birthday in person on Saturday and we sang to her and I had a special cupcake for her!!! Hope you enjoyed it Allie!!

Here is the card I made for Allie. It uses the Reason to Smile set which you can earn for FREE during the month of August, you have 8 days left to get this lovely set!

I got the idea for this card from my friends Bekka and Victoria! I saw cards they had made with white embossed outlines so I had a go myself and came up with this. The colour combo is Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight with a Crumb Cake card blank.

The sentiment is from the Happiest Birthday Wishes set which I think is one of my most used Hostess sets ever.

The inside of the card also got some stamping action too!!

Hope you have a lovely day Allie

A Ghoulish Sneak Peek!!!

Hello there! How are you??
I am still not well but battling on as you do!! Yesterday our team held our first ever Shoebox Swap Day which was a huge success! We will certainly be doing more! Thanks to the ladies who attended and as ever huge thanks to my wonderful friend Mel who provides the best buffet and cupcakes, she really is one in a million!

So we all had to design a project and put it in a box and all the boxes got passed round to the left! We had 18 people attend so we had to have 2 tables of nine which meant we didnt get to do ALL the projects as I think 17 would have been too many!! Anyway all the girls are asking for another!!!!!

Here is my project

I held out and waited for my Sneak Peek Pre Order goodies that arrived on Friday from the A/W Seasonal Catalogue which goes live on 1st September. For those Halloween lovers out there you will be pleased to know there are lots more Halloween items for you! Including this fantastic stamp set and kit that I have used here!

You can see from the photo underneath that I did some heat embossing on the project with the clear embossing powder and Versamark ink.

I hope you like my sweet treat sneak peek!

Check back tomorrow for photos from our day!

Did you miss me?

Phew! We got back last night from a week in France, very sunny France it was too! We had a lovely time but I was not feeling very well for the whole week but I managed to plod on as us Mums do!!!! I am not usually one for going in the pool but I went in every day except one! Robin had to get photographic evidence!! I am behind the fountain!

Me and Evan!

Evan, Ross and I had a go at canoeing on the lake, myself and Evan in a 2 man canoe and Ross on his own. We are having a little rest here, its very hard work even more so in the sun!

I have a photo just like this from when Evan was around 3 years old, I must dig it out and compare!!! He is almost as big as me at age 9!!!!! Note the Stampin Up towel, it goes on all my hols with me - LOVE IT!

We discovered that Evan was quite good at Archery on holiday too! Ross had a go on the Zip Wire but Evan was too scared so he did Archery and he picked it up really quickly and just got on with it.
