Gift Packaging

Good Morning! Sorry for the lack of blog yesterday, I was at the church hall for 7.5 hours teaching various classes for my last Saturday classes of 2014! I LOVE doing my classes but I need some family time now for the next few weeks and I am looking forward to that and then coming back with new classes for you in January 2015. I do now have my class lists for 2015 available on a PDF so if you would like one e-mailing to you please do contact me. Bookings are already coming in for my All Day Stamp a Stack in March 2015.

Today I cannot find my SD card for my camera!!! So I looked back on my iPhone and realised I had not shared these little projects with you from a few weeks ago. As you know my son Evan does Ballroom and Latin dancing and I am fortunate that there are 2 lovely ladies at dancing who partner him and help him out in his lessons, and give me a rest from dancing with him! It’s quite a daunting task partnering someone at a competition when the judges are just marking that person and not you. I’ve done it a few times with Evan and a lot of times for Paul and its more nerve-wracking than dancing your own competitions! So a little thank you is always in order. I wanted to use the lovely lovely wrapping paper from the Autumn/Winter catalogue but didnt want the presents to look festive! I added some Blushing Bride wide striped grosgrain ribbon to girly the boxes of chocs up.
I then went for butterflies! I don’t think you can go wrong with a butterfly can you?
I then added them to a little circle tag and tied around the bow with some Linen Thread. The girls liked their little gifts and I always think they look a lot more special with a personalised tag and hand wrapped! What do you think?
Hope you like these makes? I am off to tackle the mess of the craft room after all this weekends classes!

Festive Gift Bag

Hello there. Here is the last project from our Tuesday Club last week. I didn’t get round to sharing this yesterday as I had my little niece from 7.45am until 2pm and she was a little bit grumpy yesterday, bless her.
This is a cute little project you can easily make with the gift bags, a piece of Designer Series paper and some accessories. In fact there is barely anything glued down on here as the paper and doily are folded over and held in place by the peg. I think the only thing glued is the bow onto the wreath
Here are all the projects together that we made this week.
Right thats me off to my classes for today! Catch you tomorrow

Gift Box Punch Board make

Good Morning! Did you tune into It Takes Two last night?? If you missed it then it will be on the BBC iPlayer for a week and it is also on You Tube if you search for Strictly Super Fan Quiz!! It was a very surreal experience seeing myself on TV and hearing how Yorkshire I sounded, but I did try and do my “posh Yorkshire” voice! They did edit lots out and the final round at the end did end very abruptly, we actually answered another 2 people each before the round ended! Have to say that Myles who I was up against was very unlucky and he is such a lovely guy. We have stayed in touch which I am so thrilled about! I will let you know when the Semi-Final is going to be aired as I went back down to London to record it last week!

So onto Stampin Up! Here is another project from our Tuesday Club this week, a cute gift box made with the Gift Box Punch Board. It started with a piece of the Kraft card stock 9x9 inches and I stamped it all over with the lovely star from the Bright and Beautiful stamp set.
I saw a cute little tag like this on a project that the lovely Erica Cerwin did so I just had to CASE it! Thank you Erica! The band around the box is just a piece of 12x12 cut at 2 inches and then I Scallop Tagged bot the ends and tied it together.
So a few little reminders for you as this is just a short post!

We have our joining up offer! You can get your hands on £130 worth of Stampin Up goodies for only £74.25 and then earn an extra 5% back on all orders in December! If you have been thinking about joining now is the time to do so! Let’s have a chat!
I am also still placing orders for the Christmas Wish List service or I can make Gift Vouchers for you too! Just get in touch with me and I will arrange it all!
Back tomorrow!

Tuesday Club make

Good Morning! Firstly, I wanted to let those of you who have been following my Strictly journey, know that I will be on BBC 2 tonight at 6.30pm in the first round of the Strictly Super Fan Quiz. Lots of people have asked me if I will be dancing and the answer is no, I am taking part in a national quiz to find Strictly’s Biggest Super Fan and tonight’s round is the Quarter Final against a lovely guy called Myles. I have bet so many wonderful people throughout this surreal process and am excited to see it tonight plus I’m a little nervous too!!! Do hope you can tune in and cheer me on!

So back onto crafting! Here is one of the makes from last nights Tuesday Club. I have to give a shout out to the lovely Caroline van der Straaten who kindly allowed me to CASE her design. This card uses the Envelope Punch Board and you literally make an envelope and then cut off one of the flaps and add an insert and a belly band!
I used traditional colours of Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Crumb Cake and Whisper White along with some of the paper from the Trim the Tree DSP stack. The Festival of Trees was my stamp set of choice for this card.

Love love love the Cherry Cobbler ribbon from the Autumn/Winter catalogue, its perfect for this project.
Hope you like todays make, all the supplies used are detailed below

Just a couple of reminders about things whilst I have you here!

PLEASE REMEMBER ANY ORDERS OVER £45 PLACED IN NOVEMBER WILL QUALIFY FOR A DRAW FOR A FREE STAMP SET OF ANY VALUE! THIS INCLUDED ONLINE ORDERS AND HOSTESS CLUB ORDERS TOO.
