Upcoming Classes

Hello there. I thought I would take the opportunity to update you on some of my upcoming classes today. Details of my Classes can usually be found on my Facebook events page HERE or on my Classes/Events page on my blog HERE
Today I will just be sharing a highlight of some of the classes

October Christmas Card Club
Wednesday 12th October
We will use the Wonderful Year stamp set to create 10 Christmas cards in one evening, plus envelopes.
The cost is £26.00 to include the stamp set or £12.00 to share mine.

November Crafternoon Tea
Saturday 12th November
We will be making Christmas Tags at this event, similar to these below.
Bookings for the Crafternoon Tea can be made by visiting my Classes/Events page and using the secure payment link. The cost is £25 per person which includes all the crafting and a full Afternoon Tea.

Ok one of my most favourite events is the Christmas ReTREAT day and this year I will have one on a Wednesday and a Saturday, details below. Included in this event will be the Cookie Cutter Bundle to use on your projects. If you already have this then you can choose £31.50 worth of alternative product.
Here is one of the projects we will be making on the day. It really is a treat day out with no cooking or cleaning for you to do!
If you cannot make the ReTREAT day then I will be holding a class to make the Peg Wreath on Saturday 22nd October at 2pm.

I do hope you can make it to one of my events!

Holly Berry Happiness for Christmas Card Club

Good Morning and welcome to my blog today! Today is a quick share of a card CASED from the catalogue that we made at our Christmas Card Club a couple of weeks ago. At the club we make 10 cards in one evening focussing on one particular stamp set and in September it was Holly Berry Happiness.
I will be sorting the details out for October's class very soon
I made 2 different versions in case my ladies didn't want to make the across the miles card.

Jar of Love Freestanding Pop Up card

Good Morning and a happy Monday to you. Well it seems like there is a chill in the air today and it's the first time I have considered needing the heating on at home. Trying to hold out until October though!

Today I am sharing the last of the Jar of Love makes from our Retreat last weekend. I saw this lovely card on Lou Kitzelman's blog and knew I had to include one. Top tip for next time would be to not include the ribbon as it makes it harder to close the card for posting.
The idea of this card is that its supposed to look like the jar is standing on a table so I added a little table cloth running across the centre of the table.
We did have a laugh constructing these when one of my ladies (no names mentioned) struggled to get her jar to say standing up!
Hope you like todays make and you have been inspired to use the Jar of Love set.

Never Ending Card

Hi there and welcome to my blog today where I will be sharing my penultimate Jar of Love card from the weekend retreat last weekend. I've wanted to make a Never Ending card for years but I never got round to it until now! I got the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers HERE
Although it looks complex the mechanism is literally 4 pieces of Whisper White cardstock that are 3 inch x 6 inch in size. The tutorial has a little video which I found really useful.
I then really enjoyed decorating all the different panels with the stamps from the Jar of Love
Hope you like todays make, I'll be back tomorrow with the final project.

Hello! Blog Hop for the Autumn-Winter Catalogue 2016

Welcome to the Hello! Blog Hop for the brand new Autumn/Winter catalogue. You’ll be hopping around some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators blogs, each with an inspirational project, featuring new catalogue products. Currently you’re visiting me, Julie Kettlewell from the UK. Hello there! You can continue hopping by using the next button at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making.

Last weekend I ran my 4th Craft Retreat at a local hotel and this was one of the projects for the Sunday, when we always do Christmas projects! I love love love this project and it certainly got the WOW factor. I had seen a few peg wreaths on Pinterest and this is my take on it using the Candy Cane Lane papers. We will be making this at my All Day ReTREAT day with spaces left on Wednesday 16th and Saturday 19th November of you would like to re-create it. The hardest part was finding enough pegs in the shop for my 17 ladies but with a little help from a lovely team member I got there.
The pegs are attached to a copper florist wreath ring and hot glued on to the ring. It's not a complex project, just takes time to get it right.
I am still loving the Cookie Cutter Christmas set so naturally had to use these little guys to decorate the inside of the wreath.
Thank you for visiting today. The next stop is the talented and very lovely Erica Cerwin. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

Garden of Love

Good Morning
I am back today with another make from this weekends craft retreat. This one was a CASED card from one I saw by the talented Bronwyn Eastley and purchased her tutorial to make my own version. Bronwyn's tutorial was in inches but I was working with A4 for this card so I made mine in centimetres.
I wanted to create a full garden of flowers and spent a lot of time at the Big Shot cutting out the little blighters! My ladies were seeing these flowers in their sleep after a day of working with them, luckily they loved the finished results!
The Classic Label punch is a very handy piece of equipment to have for this card for the fencing as is the Hardwood background stamp.
Once the ladies had got this card assembled they all loved it and I think most of them will struggle to give it away!
The great thing about it is that is folds flat-ish to pop in an envelope!
Hope you like this one today?

Jar of Love Pop Up Slider Card

Good Morning folks! I am a little later with my blog this morning as I am having an easier morning after running many many events over the past 10 days including my weekend retreat which finished yesterday. Over the next few days I will be sharing our makes from the Saturday using the Jar of Love bundle which I included in the kits for my attendees.
This was a card CASED from one by our lovely team member Chris who made me a gorgeous card for my birthday using this design but with the Baby Bear stamps so I tweaked it for my Jar of Love stamps. Once we got the construction sorted my ladies loved this card and I hope they will make more with their goodies they got to take home.
The great thing about this style card is that it also folds flat for postage!
Hope you like todays make and I will see you soon!
